Delete your Pindela account

Delete it in the app

1. Open Pindela and go to Profile → Settings.
2. Tap “Delete account”.
3. Type your email address or username to confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately — there is no waiting period and no way to undo it.

Have Premium? Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription — cancel it in your store account (Apple: Settings → Subscriptions; Google: Play Store → Payments & subscriptions), or you will keep being charged.

Can't access the app?

Send a deletion request from the email address linked to your account to Show email address…. We'll verify and delete your account within 30 days.

Delete some data without closing your account

You don't have to delete the whole account to have specific data removed:

• Stored coarse location — turn off “Near you” notifications in Settings → Notifications. The stored location is deleted immediately.
• A photo — yours or one you appear in — use the removal form at pindela.app/photo-removal.
• Anything else — email us from your account's address at Show email address… and tell us what to remove. We'll reply within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in identifier (Google or Apple).
• Your email and name (where provided), username, and avatar.
• Every photo you posted — removed from our storage as well.
• Your guesses, enrollments, points, streaks, and achievements.
• Your coarse last-known location (if you had “near you” notifications on).
• Your pins balance and daily-reward history.

What remains

Challenges of yours that other players took part in remain in their game history — anonymized: your name is removed and the photo is deleted, but the other players keep the points and placements they earned.

We retain only the minimal records we are legally required to keep — such as purchase and tax records — for the period the law requires, plus anonymised, aggregated data that can no longer identify you. Purchase receipts are held by Apple or Google, not by us.

How long it takes

Deletion from our live systems is immediate; residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 30 days.
